The Waiting Game

You know what I really hate? Waiting.

I’m an impatient person, I can’t deny it. I always want things now or yesterday, and waiting can be really frustrating. Unfortunately, it’s a big part of life for all of us.

Waiting for a performance review or grade to come back…

Waiting for food to be ready…

Waiting for a celebrity to DM you back on Instagram…

Or in my case…

Waiting for The Basketball League to drop its 2024 schedule.

It happens at some point in November, and I am so tired of waiting. Because once it happens…

The Firebirds will have set dates and times for each of our games and themes, making them easier to market. It also means we can begin the process of inviting fans to games, and it gives our fans ease of mind knowing the day and time that they’re buying tickets for.

If you want to get ahead of the game and buy tickets now, then of course you can do so here. But, if you plan to wait until we have dates and times for all of our games, then you just have to wait a few more weeks.

Waiting sucks. But at least it makes us appreciate what we’re waiting for a little bit more.
