Two Incredible Games This Weekend

Happy Firebirds Friday!

Happy Firebirds Friday! It’s almost time for our slate of games this weekend, and I’ve got all the details. Let’s jump right in:

Table of Contents

Celebrating Julian on Saturday 🌴

On Saturday at 4 PM, the Firebirds are taking on the Jacksonville 95ers in our annual College Day Game! However, the college that’s going to be most prominently featured isn’t one of the six shown in the graphic; rather, it’ll be the University of Miami. Why? Because it’s the alma mater of our player of the game, Julian Gamble.

Gamble spent his collegiate career playing with the Miami Hurricanes (you can read more about his full story here). This game will be both a celebration of Gamble’s decorated collegiate career, as well as a celebration of the university’s 100th birthday. There will be UM swag giveaways, in-game activities, special shooting shirts, and…bouncy houses?? You don’t want to miss the action on Saturday. Secure your tickets for the game here.

A Rematch Against the Buccaneers on Sunday 🏀

The action just never seems to end! On Sunday at 3 PM, the Firebirds will take on the Savannah Buccaneers, adding to the already brewing rivalry between the two teams. They’ve faced off three times this season, with the Firebirds commanding a 2-1 series lead.

This game is our friends and family-themed game! Every friend of the Firebirds is invited, along with all their families. We’re also inviting all the players and coach’s families to join us in this exciting afternoon game. Don’t wait: get your tickets for Sunday’s game here!
