The Newest Firebird

The Firebirds’ latest addition to their 2025 training camp roster is Brandon Howard! Howard is new to professional basketball, as he spent his first-ever pro season with the Rocket City Flight in the TBL last year. His first professional game was against the Firebirds last year, and even as the Firebirds got the victory, Howard shined, dropping 43 points. Standing at 6’5” and 200 pounds, Howard is a guard who can create his own shot and bully opponents with his frame. He’ll be a wonderful addition to the team!

Official Team Travel Sponsor!

The Firebirds have plenty of sponsors that make it possible for us to do what we do. There are too many to name, but a few include York Properties, Duke Raleigh Hospital, Compass Youth Center, The Black Cowgirl, St. Augustine’s University, Comfort Inn, and many more. However, one of our sponsors has renewed its partnership with the Firebirds in a new way, and that’s Kiddie Kare Academy!

Kiddie Kare Academy has been a supporter of the Raleigh Firebirds since the team began playing, back in 2019. Starting this year, Kiddie Kare will be the official travel sponsor of the Firebirds. What does this mean? When the Firebirds go on the road to take care of business, Kiddie Kare will be covering the costs, including (but not limited to) hotel and meal expenses. It takes care of a lot on our end, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Kiddie Kare Academy! If you’re interested in putting your child in a top preschool, go check them out!

Firebirds Merch…Coming Soon?

Are you a huge fan of the Firebirds that has little to no gear of the team? You’re not alone! However, that’s all going to be changing soon. In just a matter of weeks, the Firebirds will have a place for dedicated fans to get team merchandise. I’m talking jerseys, t-shirts, hoodies, hats…if you can think of it, we’ll have it. Get pumped!

Until next Monday,

-Tex
