Happy Monday! As the holidays are around the corner, the Firebirds’ greatest gift is almost here: our season schedule! It drops this upcoming weekend, and then I can preview all our amazing matchups for you. Here’s some other news in the meantime:

This is just a quick shout-out to everyone who volunteered with us this past Friday! We spent a few hours at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and had a great time giving back to our community. We always go once a month, so stay tuned for our January date!

Join the Raleigh Firebirds at the Sneaker Ball hosted by the Tineka C. Foundation! The Tineka C. Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to providing equal opportunities for professional career development in the modeling and talent industry. This event is a great opportunity to support the non-profit and to network, and we’d love to see you there!

Firebirds Renew Partnership With Wake County Smart Start

The Firebirds are proud to renounce a renewed partnership with Wake County Smart Start! Smart Start is a local non-profit dedicated to preparing young children for success in school and life. Learning begins a lot earlier for human beings then people may realize, and Smart Start helps to capitalize on the time when kids are most influenceable. They work to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of child care, provide preventive health and early intervention services, and offer family support services. They really do a lot for children and their families, and we’re encouraging everyone who knows a 3 to 5 year old kid to make sure they’re enrolled in the program.
