Some Firebirds News from Social Media

Firebird Focus isn't the only place you can go to get updates about the team

Happy Monday! Today, I’ll be sharing various news about the Firebirds with you. This ranges from sponsors returning to a new mental performance coach we’ve hired. However, all of this news has already been released on various Firebirds’ social media channels. Today I’ll be sharing this news here, but make sure to follow @raleighfirebirdz and @raleighpersonaltraining on Instagram! LinkedIn is also a great place to get news updates on Firebirds.

Our first piece of news is Thanksgiving-related! The Firebirds partnered with the National Association of University Women (NAUW) to provide a Thanksgiving day meal for two families. A huge thank you to NAUW and the work they’re doing to help us support fellow members of our community!

As a mind and body coach, Tim Ivey has had the privilege of helping athletes improve all areas of their sports performance for over 25 years. As a certified hypnotherapist, master meditation teacher, breath work coach, and Reiki Master, he has been highly successful at utilizing a multifaceted approach to support athletes in improving the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of their sports performance and their lives.

We have been fortunate to have him work with our athletes as our breath work and meditation coach, and with his assistance, we’ve consistently proven that complete mental commitment to improving is the key to success in sports and in life. By implementing these principles the Firebirds will continue to grow and impact the lives of not only our players, but our entire community and culture!

The Firebirds are excited to announce that we’ve renewed our sponsorship with York Properties! Smedes York has been one of the Firebirds’ biggest supporters, dating back to when the team was first created. We have big things in store for York Properties and us, so stay tuned for an announcement soon!

I’ll be back with more Firebirds news on Friday :)

Until then,
