An Ole Foe Rises from the Ashes
The TBL has just announced that a former franchise will be returning to the league, with that being the Tampa Bay Titans. The Firebirds, playing in the Southeastern Conference along with the Titans, will be adding a stop to Tampa during the 2025 season. The Titans are now under new ownership and excited about rejoining the TBL.
The Firebirds have enjoyed great success in Tampa. Over the five seasons that the Titans were in the league, the Firebirds only lost twice against the Titans, making the team’s Tampa record 12-2. Needless to say, the “Birds” love the Florida sunshine!
Mini Camp
It’s almost time for the Firebirds’ mini-camp! Held on November 8th and 9th, the camp is designed to give local talent an opportunity to showcase their talent and earn a spot on the Firebirds 2025 training camp roster. Brandon Howard and Tramaine Crosby are the key names leading this group into mini-camp. The rest of the roster will be announced next Monday (so stay tuned for that!).
This will be Coach Antonio Davis’ inaugural camp and the Firebirds are eager to see him in action.
“Coach Davis is perfect for where we are as an organization right now. We have needed to secure a full-time coach since COVID hit and we’re confident that this coach and this 2025 team will have what it takes to go all the way!”
