Recapping an Awesome Meet and Greet and some Upcoming Games!

Happy Monday! A huge shoutout to everyone who attended our meet and greet over the weekend! It was a blast, and I met so many Firebird Focus readers. I’m going to highlight some moments from Saturday, and then talk about the first few games of the season. Let’s jump right in!

Our 2025 jersey reveal! We have our home white jersey, the red away jersey, and a yellow alternate jersey. We also have teal shooting shirts, a tribute to North Carolina’s NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets

What’s Next for the Firebirds

The Firebirds season may not be right around the corner, but it’s fast approaching! Here are the first two game dates you NEED to put on your calendar.

Friday, March 7th, 7 PM

March 7th is the Firebirds’ first game of the season! It’s our municipalities’ night, and we’ll have representatives from all 12 municipalities at the game! We need the house absolutely packed for this one, as we play the Savannah Buccaneers. In fact, we want the house packed so badly that the first person to respond to this issue of Firebird Focus saying “I’ll be there!” will be sent two free tickets to the game. If you’re not first, you’re out of luck, so go reply right now if you haven’t already! If you don’t win the free tickets, then go purchase tickets here!

Friday, March 14th, 7 PM:

March 14th is the Firebirds’ second game of the season and our health awareness game! We’re playing the Tampa Bay Titans, and we need to show both the Titans and the rest of the TBL that our incredible Game 1 attendance isn’t a fluke. Get your tickets for this game here!

A reminder that all home games will be played at St. Augustine’s University (1315 Oakwood Avenue).
