I talked about Keith in a recent issue of Firebird Focus, but he’s such a big supporter of the team, I just had to mention him again! Keith is a realtor, real estate developer, and general contractor; whatever your home or property needs, he can get the job done.
Keith met our team market owner, Wade, over 30 years ago and has been working with him ever since. Subsequently, he became a fan of the Firebirds, as once the team came into existence in 2019, the players trained in the same gym as all of Wade’s clients. Being able to train alongside the players was not only a cool experience, but also allowed Keith to develop relationships with many of them. Knowing the guys who fought valiantly on the court every week gave Keith a deeper appreciation for the Firebirds and all of the players.

Matchup Shift 😤
If you looked closely at the flyer above for our game this Friday, something may have caught your eye. We’re not playing the Tampa Bay Titans; instead, we’re playing the Capital Seahawks, a TBL team travelling from the DMV to face us. This will be an epic game, as the Seahawks post a 12-5 record. Not only will this be an epic battle to watch, but it’ll be a great test and taste of the playoffs for our guys. The Seahawks are very possibly a team the Firebirds could find themselves facing in the second round of the playoffs.
