Firebirds Playoff Update #2

The Next Round Begins on Thursday!

Attention Raleigh and Firebird Focus readers!

The only Professional Men's Basketball team in the area, the Raleigh Firebirds, are set to take on the Albany Patroons in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals this Thursday night!

The Firebirds, fresh off winning the Southeastern Conference Championship last Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida, are looking to capture their first Eastern Conference title in the franchise's 6-year history. But they'll need every ounce of strength and the full support of the community to overcome the tough Albany squad.

Join us this Thursday, June 6th, at Emery Gymnasium on the campus of St. Augustine's University (1315 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC). Doors open at 6 pm at Gate 6. Tipoff is set for 7 pm as the Firebirds host the Patroons in a battle for a spot in the Championship Series.

Get your tickets at the door or online at raleighfirebirds.net. For more information, text 919-830-0305.

Let's pack the gym and show the Firebirds that Raleigh is behind them 100%! Go Firebirds!

Retraction Statement:

Some info was shared during the last edition of Firebird Focus that wasn’t completely accurate, so this is to set the record straight. While there was a brief exchange during the play-in game between Julian Gamble and #25 from the Jackals, there was never actually a fight that occurred. The players were separated by their teammates and referees, and the game continued afterward. I apologize for the error and congratulate Jamestown and the Jackals on a great inaugural TBL season.
