Firebirds on The Sports Shop Radio Show!

The Raleigh Firebirds were thrilled to join The Sports Shop Radio Show to share some big news with the community! We had some huge announcements, and we thought there was no better way to break the news than to join The Sports Shop Radio Show!🎙️
We were proud to introduce the Raleigh Firebirds Academy, a program for kids and teens ages 6–17 that goes beyond basketball. While focusing on fundamental skills and player development, the Academy will also emphasize leadership, teamwork, and a positive mindset. The goal is to help young athletes grow into champions both on and off the court.
We also unveiled our Summer Camps, open to local and international students, featuring engaging tracks in STEAM, Agriculture, Business, and English. U.S.-based students will even have the opportunity to travel to Brazil for a two-week cultural exchange, combining education, basketball, and life-changing experiences. ✈️
Finally, we announced the launch of the Firebirds Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free educational programs for children and teens. Through this initiative, we aim to create lasting opportunities and make a meaningful impact in our community.
