Happy Monday Firebirds Nation! The Firebirds are celebrating one of their own, guard DJ Thomas, going OFF at the Ground Zero Pro-Am by dropping 52 points! Yes, you are reading that correctly. DJ Thomas, guard and 6th man of the Firebirds, had himself quite the outing last week at the Ground Zero Pro-Am when he dropped 52 points🤯🔥
What an unbelievable performance from DJ, we are proud that he is part of our team and can’t wait to see the new heights that himself and the Raleigh Firebirds organization reach in 2026 🗣️ 🔥

What Would You Tell Your Younger Self (ep.4)
Today’s Guest: Ahmad Abdullah
We asked some our players the following:
“What would you tell your younger self today? What if you could take him under your wings today?”
When asking this question to Ahmad Abdullah, he had this to say:
“I would tell him to work hard everyday. Don’t take anytime for granted that you step on the court.“
Very well said from Ahmad! My key takeaways from this quote is that consistent hard work is key to reaching our goals and that we should not take anything for granted, just like Ahmad would tell his younger self not to take his time on the court for granted. 💯
