Get tickets before they sell out! We need your support!
Raleigh, NC, May 23, 2024 - The Raleigh Firebirds professional men’s basketball team is gearing up for a thrilling first-round playoff matchup on Tuesday, May 28th at 7 PM. Fans are invited to pack the historic Emery Gymnasium at St. Augustine’s University to cheer on the Firebirds as they battle for the TBL national championship.
“In a community with powerhouse college programs like Duke, NC State, and UNC, as well as the popular Carolina Hurricanes, it can be a challenge for another professional team to gain the spotlight,” said Firebirds Team Market Owner Wade Harris, “But we know the greater Raleigh area is full of passionate sports fans, and we’re calling on all 12 municipalities in Wake County to come out and support your hometown Firebirds in the playoffs.”
To encourage community involvement, the team is offering free admission to all college and high school graduates who come to the game with a picture of them in their graduation cap and gown. The Firebirds want to fill the stands with energy and enthusiasm of the next generation of Raleigh leaders.
“These players have worked hard all season to get to this point, but they need the support of the entire Raleigh community to push them to victory,” added Harris. “We’re asking everyone to come out, bring the noise, and help the Firebirds soar to the National Championship!”
Tickets are available now at raleighfirebirds.net, by emailing [email protected], or by texting 919-830-0305. They can also be bought at Emery Gymnasium before the game. Let’s go Firebirds!
