Hello Firebird fans! After a prolonged break, we are back and ready to jump on all the Firebirds and community news leading up to our season start in March. A lot has happened in the last month and a half, so let’s get you up to speed!

Season Schedule Released!
The Raleigh Firebirds schedule for the 2024 season has been released! If you were one of those people who were waiting for the times and dates of games before committing to tickets, the wait is now over! Here’s a list of our 12 home games:
If you’re ready to buy tickets to see the best basketball team in Raleigh, awesome! The Raleigh Firebirds are partnering with Ticket Smarter to sell our tickets for the upcoming season, and they can be purchased here. In the coming weeks, I’ll break down each game, talking about our opponent and what makes that game and its theme significant. Stay tuned, and please feel free to reply to this email with any questions!
Partnership with PDQ
About a week or two ago, we solidified a partnership for this upcoming season with PDQ, a restaurant that serves fresh chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches. PDQ stands for People Dedicated to Quality, and their specialty is high-quality food that comes at a speed rivaling fast food chains. You’ll hear more about them and our other amazing sponsors throughout our season and on Firebird Focus.
Mini Camp for Prospective Players!
This might be the most exciting piece of news yet! The Firebirds are holding a Mini Camp to evaluate talent for the upcoming season. This camp is invite-only and will be held at Word of God Christian Academy on January 12th-13th. Invites will be released soon, another thing to be excited for in the coming weeks! Many returners will be at this camp, and some new faces as well.
New Director of Sales and Marketing
The Firebirds are proud to introduce Damion Jones as our new Director of Sales and Marketing! We’re super excited to welcome him to the team. Damion is extremely passionate about customer service, and has worked in sales in many industries, including fitness, real estate, banking, and more! We’re super excited to welcome him to our team, and who knows: you might be receiving a call from him in a few months to make sure you got your tickets for this upcoming season.
