Firebirds on the Airwaves

If you guys didn’t know, the Raleigh Firebirds were on the radio last Friday! As part of our ongoing series with The Sports Shop Radio Show, the Firebirds appear on the radio every Friday morning for our segment, Firebirds Friday.

Every week, our team market owner Wade goes on the show and sometimes brings along a special guest with him. This week’s guest was new head coach Antonio Davis. Erroll, KMAC, and Pam (the hosts of the show) had a great conversation with Coach Davis and Wade, so take a listen below:

Special Guest to Attend Second Firebirds Game

I have some exciting news! NFL player Brandon Bouyer-Randle from the Cleveland Browns will be our special guest at the Firebirds youth sports game on March 14th. Bouyer is Wade’s nephew and will be our guest as he helps inspire the next generation of young athletes at this special game.

The Firebirds youth sports game is on March 14th at 7 PM, so get your tickets now!

Meet and Greet

We have finally reached the week of our second meet and greet! If you’ve somehow missed my previous 7,000 emails hyping up this event, the Firebirds meet and greet is on Saturday, January 11th. It’s a great opportunity to network, meet members of the Firebirds organization, and introduce yourself to some of the Firebirds who will be battling so valiantly on the court all year.
