It’s the best day of the week, and that’s game day! As mentioned in yesterday’s Firebird Focus, the Firebirds will take on the electric Capital Seahawks from Washington, DC, instead of the Tampa Bay Titans. The change in opponent will make for a game that’s even more exciting to watch!

A Taste of Halftime Tonight

We have a special treat for you if you’re attending the game this evening! Our halftime performer will be recording Artist/Songwriter/Saxophonist Danny Davenport, better known as DSquared!

DSquared is a versatile musician originally from Northeast Washington DC and currently located in Durham, North Carolina. He is a 2016 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where he majored in psychology with a minor in music. Equipped with a unique repertoire of Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, and AfroBeats; DSquared channels the expression of his life experiences through his music, creating a personable and relatable experience for his listeners. His innate ability to connect with the audience on a personal level will ensure that he leaves his mark in the music world for years to come.
